The Hamptons

We are so excited to celebrate with you all! Please note that September is still “busy season” for the Hamptons. With that in mind, we urge you to book your accommodation as soon as possible. Many hotels and inns require a two-night minimum.

Travel

We encourage anyone flying in for the weekend to look at flights to Islip (ISP) as it is the closest airport to East Hampton. Allow an hour from ISP, longer on Friday evenings.

Both JFK and LaGuardia (LGA) are within driving distance to the East Hampton.
If driving from JFK, allow yourself 2 hours, longer on Friday evenings. You can take the Long Island Railroad from Jamaica/Airtrain to East Hampton.
If driving from LGA, allow yourself 2.5 hours, and longer on Friday evenings.
If driving from Manhattan, allow yourself 2.5 hours, and longer on Friday evenings.
The Hampton Jitney leaves Manhattan hourly from stops along Third Avenue, above 40th Street. It also makes stops at an “airport connection” near LaGuardia, Kennedy and Islip airports (Please note that if taking the Jitney from one of the airport connections, you must take a taxi from the airport to the Jitney pickup location).
The Jitney stops in each of the Hampton villages. The Ambassador line is their upgraded service.

The Long Island Railroad (LIRR) has trains between Manhattan and the Hamptons throughout the day. Please note that many of the trains from Manhattan require a transfer at Jamaica Station (JFK Airport)
